Our Community of Brain Story Contributors

Receiving a diagnosis of a brain or mental-health-related issue can be an overwhelming and confusing time. Many resources are available to learn more about a condition, including our library of over 600 topics. At United Brain Association, we have found that reading or listening to the “brain stories” of others experiencing a similar condition has provided some comfort and helped the reader not feel alone with their new diagnosis.

While some brain story contributors remain anonymous, many have generously offered to connect with others to provide their support and answer any questions to someone looking for additional information. As a result, we have forged a network, built a community, and established a place to turn to when dealing with brain and mental health.
